Thanks for checking in with us. Turkey season is almost here in west Texas, and of course hog season never leaves!
At present all of our available deer and season leases are filled. However we are actively trying to acquire new land, and we foresee having some availability in the near future, specifically in Foard and Hardeman Counties.
Back here in East Texas........ We have lost a significant dove and duck property due to the ignorance and selfishness of one of our FORMER members. He chose to not only drive through a field rather than around, it was wet, and he did donuts in the middle of it. Please respect the land, landowner, and your fellow hunter.
DO NOT DRIVE ON BLACK DIRT ROADS OR FIELDS. IT IS UNFORGIVING, YOU WILL GET STUCK.
Ruts and wallers start erosion issues that the farmers have to fight year around, and is the single biggest complaint from landowners today, even more so than trash and gates.
Remember to shoot clays and camp in designated areas, and stay off the mud. Those things can cause nothing but trouble for you, me, and our landowners. It's unfortunate, but we will no longer pull people from the mud, and it's quite possible your hunting lease could be terminated with a serious violation. We can not afford to lose a field for everyone, for the inconsiderate acts of a few.
